Essential Oils
The use of essential oils has become more popular over the last decade or two. But they’ve been a part of wellness and medicine, including Classical Acupuncture, for thousands of years.
Extracted from plants, roots, trees, leaves, fruits, flowers, roots and grasses, and made into liquid concentrate - essential oils are commonly used for digestive issues, dermatology, headaches and migraines, memory support, mental and emotional clarity, as well as for cleansing spaces and spiritual purposes.
Applied topically to acupuncture points or diffused at home, essential oils evoke a deeper, more primal response - via our sense of smell. And in this way, we can use them to awaken and treat the deeper, more unconscious imbalances.
Each oil has its own specific chemistry or frequency vibration, but can be used effectively for a variety of issues and symptoms. They are often combined together to form a blend or formula. And I use them at practically every treatment.
