Tuning Forks & Sound Therapy

Sound healing is one of humanity’s oldest curatives, commonly used to improve physical and mental-emotional wellbeing. Sound or frequency seeks out the dissonance within the body and helps to restore a natural biorhythm.

Tuning forks are safe, non-invasive and medical-grade tools made of a special aluminum alloy - used to restore and balance the body. The frequency or sound waves produced by the forks help to balance & ground the nervous system, reduce inflammation & pain, & increase circulation. It can feel relaxing to some, while others experience only a subtle vibrating sensation.

Tuning forks work succinctly with Chinese medicine, by placing them on or near points along acupuncture channels or meridians they can be used to supplement treatment for many types of issues and illnesses. Weight loss, headaches & migraines, musculoskeletal issues, dermatological issues, detox support, and hormonal imbalances are some of the concerns that I have found to respond well to sound therapies. I use several different sets of tuning forks, including one tuned to the ancient healing Solfeggio Scale, as well as Tibetan singing bowls and the gong.
